Hayseed Dixie played The Vic Sept 2nd 2006 and was a brill night, tickets were £15 each and sold out a month before the event, they like a drink while there workin so we put a fridge freezer on stage  with a few beers inside to make them feel at home, and Martin Bird a close friend of the pub made the poster of there hometown liquer store for good measure,"DEER LICK HOLLER"
 The father of the Reno brothers in the band who passed to the gods of moonshine many years ago (deceased) actually wrote the instrumental DUELIN BANJOS remember the film DELIVERANCE !!!!! we hope the boys will come back one day.
